As you know, we love all things tiny and miniature at Yoyo & Flo. So we are delighted to introduce you to the Djeco Tinyly collection - and tell you why we love it so, so much!
What is Tinyly?
Tinyly is a whimsical collection of beautifully designed little figurines and play sets from France. Each tiny figurine has its own personality and accessories, and comes with an even tinier companion.
The collection also features portable houses shaped like treehouses, caravans and clouds, as well as shops, tiny rooms, and even a Tinyly car. There’s also a lovely range of Tinyly jewellery, stationery and stickers.
Who makes Tinyly?
Tinyly is designed by the French artist Virginie Brachet and made by Djeco, the French toy brand known for its premium quality and beautiful design.
What age is Tinyly suitable for?
The Tinyly figures and play sets are suitable for children aged 4 to 9 (and beyond).
What size are Tinyly figures?
Tinyly figures stand around 7.5cm tall, with their tiny sidekicks measuring about 1cm, depending on the character.
So that’s a little introduction to the world of Tinyly. Now, here are our six reasons to love Tinyly and why they make the most amazing gifts.
1. Tinyly is wonderful for imaginative play
First and foremost, Tinyly figures are designed for play. Each little character invites children into a world of make-believe where tiny friends go on big adventures together. They encourage storytelling, role play and creative fun. And with the adorable Tinyly car, Tiny Rooms, and three Tinyly houses to decorate, the possibilities for imaginative play just keep growing.
2. Tinyly figures are beautifully designed and full of detail
Designed in France by artist Virginie Brachet, the Tinyly range has that unmistakable 'je ne sais quoi'. Every figure is a miniature work of art: full of character, beautifully made and (we think) unlike anything else on the toy shelf.
Each one is packed with delightful little details to discover: such as Amy’s mushroom-inspired hat, Tutti’s lilac hair (twisted into two ice cream scoops complete with sprinkles), or Minico, the ladybird baby, peacefully sleeping in a flower-shaped cradle. These thoughtful touches will make each Tinyly figure feel like a precious treasure to children. And when playtime’s over, their Tinyly friends will look beautiful on a shelf or windowsill.
3. Tinyly is great for collecting - so you’ll never be stuck for a gift idea again!
One of the joys of Tinyly figures is how collectible they are. Once a child has fallen in love with their first figure, there’s always something new to add. It makes gift-giving so easy because whether you’re shopping for a birthday, Christmas or a just a little reward, you can always find a new piece to grow their collection.
4. There’s a Tinyly character for everyone
Whatever your child is into, there’s a Tinyly they’ll love:
-
Joe & Gala will charm anyone who adores horses and unicorns (because yes, Gala is actually a unicorn).
-
Sidonie & Zick are a dream for budding musicians.
-
Barbouille & Gribs will inspire young artists with their paint-splattered charm.
-
Flore & Bloom are a beautiful choice for little gardeners or flower enthusiasts.
-
Elfe & Bolero bring a touch of fairy magic to playtime.
-
And there’s even a wedding couple, Marguerite & Leopold, who would make a lovely gift for a bridesmaid or even the bride and groom.
5. Tinyly offers something for every occasion (and budget)
If you’re shopping for a special gift for Christmas or a birthday, there’s the beautiful Sunny & Mia’s Cloud House, Sylvia & Fox’s Forest House, and Bluchka & Indie House. If you’re looking for a pocket-money treat, you can choose from the wide range of figurines or some of the other Tinyly gifts - which brings us on to our final reason why Tinyly are so great for gifting...
6. Tinyly is more than toys
The Tinyly magic doesn’t stop at figurines. The range also includes notebooks, stickers, and jewellery, all created with the same enchanting Tinyly je ne sais quoi. There are necklaces and bracelets to match some of the best loved Tinyly dolls, including Elfe, Berry and Luz. There's also Tinyly sticker sets, notebooks featuring Prunelle & Bianca and Coco & Minico. These make brilliant extras for party bags, stocking fillers or small treats, and they allow children to enjoy their favourite characters wherever they go.
In a Tinyly nutshell...
Beautifully designed, full of imagination, and endlessly collectible, Djeco Tinyly are the kind of toys children love to play with and parents love to give. Be warned though! They may be just a little bit addictive! Once you’ve met your first Tinyly, you’ll almost certainly be hooked. Are you ready to step into the world of Tinyly?
